Samahan-Tea, Ingridients
Samahan-Tea contains 14 different herbs and has been used for hundreds of years in Sri-Lanka.
Like with many other herbal drinks you could make your own "Samahan". Most herbs can be bought in a good Herbal-Store. But it is easier to just buy the readymade mixture.
Samahan Tea is 100% natural. There is nothing in it except the 14 herbs and cane sugar.
No preservatives, no colours, no Exxx. Just herbs. Samahan Tea is produced under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Samahan Tea is halaal and GMP and HACCP certified.
Samahan Tea contains cane sugar, adding to 15 Kcal per sachet. This is necessary, as the cane sugar "transports" the herbal ingredients.
Samahan Tea is packed in single portions (4gr.) in an aluminium foil. As cane sugar is very water affine, contact with water or air moisture would let it go lumpy.
Samahan Tea is "best to use" within 3 years. You will find the exact expiring date on every sachet. Our tea is normally about 3 month old by the time you get it, so you have about 2,7 years to go.
